How to Transfer

All NJ SREC transfers are transacted on the PJM-EIS GATs platform at www.PJM-EIS.com. Follow these steps:

  1. Enter your generation between the 1st and the 15th of the month. GATs will post your RECs approximately 5–7 business days after generation is entered.
  2. Check the posted price on this website — refresh the homepage for the current price for each energy year before you transfer.
  3. Transfer your RECs to our GATs account at the posted price.
  4. We typically accept the SRECs within two business days. You will receive an additional receipt from GATs when the SRECs are accepted.
  5. Get paid — see Payment Info for how ACH direct deposit works.

Prices can change. Always use a refreshed view of the homepage for the current posted price when making a transfer.

The SREC / Class 1 REC market can be volatile and can decline or rise significantly in response to industry, market, economic, regulatory, or political developments. Past bid prices are not indicators of future prices. Our posted web price is the price we will pay you for spot-market RECs; no fee or commission is deducted from the payment.
